Description:
Creeping, matted herb. Round stems, to 13 ft long, rooted at nodes. Leaves serrate, sometimes lobed, glossy, 3.5 inches long by 2 inches wide. Daisylike flowers, disc and ray petals yellow. A popular ornamental groundcover. Sphagneticola; meaning unclear;
trilobata refers to the shape of the leaves(5, 70). Reclassified recently; most literature will list the genus as Wedelia.
